Shavuot

This is a celebration of receiving the teachings of our ancestors. Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks), the Holiday commemorating Moses’ return down Mount Sinai with the Tablets of the Covenant 50 days – 7×7 weeks plus a day- after leaving us to angst over running away from our storied Egypt bondage.
